Abstract
Background. Formation of new international relations model based on sustainable and just world order is the main strategic goal of Russian foreign policy. Under the conditions of turbulence of the world order, destructive nature of relations of various actors in the world arena, it acquires key im-portance in processes of ensuring security of entire world community. The research interest is in studying Russian foreign policy vectors in ensuring peace, security and building new world order from the point of view of their assessment by modern Russian youth. Materials and methods. The study of strategic objectives of Russian foreign policy in framework of ensuring stable system of international relations is based on analysis of conceptual documents, results of the author's research conducted among youth of Penza, Tyumen, Saratov in 2024, materials of international and all-Russian studies: Gallup, VTsIOM, Public Opinion Foundation. Results. Features of Russian approach to formation of new just world order presented in the Foreign Policy Concepts of 2013, 2016 and 2023 are analyzed; the views of youth on parameters of new world order, assessments of Russia's role in ensuring formation of international peace and stability are presented. Conclusions. The analysis revealed differences in Russia's priorities in ensuring sustainability of global development within the framework of conceptual provisions of foreign policy, where coordinating role of the UN, indivisibility of security, and sovereign equality of all countries remain unchanged. Young people associate the notion of “mul-tipolarity” primarily with the sovereign equality of countries, their cooperation, diversity of cultures and civilizations, and the main criterion for stability of modern international system is countering the use of double standards. According to research data, Russians, as well as young people, consider the role of the UN in maintaining peace and security as coordinating, but today its high efficiency is not observed, which causes international tension.
